There were 22 new advisories issued since yesterday, 1 in BC, 7 in SK, 5 in MB, 5 in QC, 1 in AB, 3 in NL.

Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to a portion of Shoal Lake Public Water System, Rock Garden Campground PWS, Idle Wheels Campground PWS. A semi-public system BWA was issued to Little Grand Rapids Northern Store. Advisory causes were not stated, however all were categorized as short term. A First Nation BWA was issued to O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi Public Water System.


Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map

In Newfoundland and Labrador, 2 BWAs were issued to Beauline-no. 1 Brook Path Well, one due to E. coli having been detected while repeat samples can not be taken as required. The other advisory is due to the disinfection system being off, due to maintenance or mechanical failure. A BWA was issued to one street in Buchans due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair.


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the town of Cupar due to a power outage and depressurization, one street in Hodgeville due to a watermain break, portion of the village of Tantallon due to a watermain repair effective July 27, one block in the town of Biggar, due to watermain break and repair. Two DWAs were issued in Prince Albert, one due to watermain replacement and the other due to repairs. A First Nation BWA was issued to Makwa Sahgaiehcan Public Water System.


Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, a BWA was issued to residents on the municipal water system serving Trois-Pistoles and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges due to the presence of harmful bacteria in the water system. A preventive BWA was issued to several addresses in Sainte-Catherine due to sheathing work. Two preventive BWAs were issued in Lévis, one due to an aqueduct break and the other due to hyrant replacement; each advisory applies to one street only. A preventive BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Trois-Rivières and Sept-Îles.


Alberta Advisory Map

In Alberta, a blue-green algae (cyanobacteria bloom) advisory was issued to parts of Hutch Lake.


British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, Fraser Health issued a BWN to Reo Rafting (Boston Bar) due to unacceptable levels of microbiological contamination detected in the drinking water supply.


Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, a previously issued BWA was lifted in Gogama. First Nation BWAs were issued to Naicatchewenin Public Water System and to Chippewas Kettle and Stony Point PWS.
