There were 20 new advisories issued since Friday: 3 in MB, 5 in SK, 2 in NS, 1 in NL, 5 in QC, 3 in BC, 1 in ON.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Lighthouse Cottages (Inverness County) and Captains Choice Lobster - community use Well (Yarmouth), reasons not stated.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Northern Health issued BWNs to LNG Tank (Kitimat) due to unsatisfactory bacteriological water results, and to Northwest Wood Treaters (Prince George) due to unsatisfactory
bacteriological water results. A WQA was issued by Northern Health to Mackenzie CWS-Gantahaz Subdivision due to elevated manganese levels.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Jacksons Cove, no. 3 Well due to water entering the system and after a minimum 20 minute contact time lacking the minimum free chlorine residual .
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Bécancour, a BWA was issued to a portion of one avenue due to leak repairs. A preventive BWA was issued to the Pointe du Moulin sector of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île
Perrot due to an aqueduct break. In Sainte-Adèle a BWA was issued to one sector due to work on the aqueduct system. In Val-David a BWA is in effect for certain sectors due to chlorine imbalance.
A BWA was issued to one avenue in Saint-Zotique, reason not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Kinistino due to planned maintenance, portion of Langenburg due to line break or pressure loss, Mainprize Regional Park due to elevated turbidity,
portion of one avenue in Sceptre due to line break or pressure loss, an isolated area of Regina Beach due to line repair.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, seasonal BWAs were issued to Rubber Ducky Resort and Turtle Crossing Campground; both are categorized as short term. A BWA was issued to Bowsman PWS, reason not stated, short term.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a blue-green algae advisory was issued by Northwestern Health Unit for Beaver Pond near Kirk Lake in Sioux Lookout; at this time analysis is underway to determine the presence of cyanobacteria.
