There were 23 new advisories issued since Friday: 1 in MB, 5 in SK, 7 in QC, 3 in NS, 2 in BC, 4 in NL, 1 in AB.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued to Port au Port-no 4 Goose Pond Well due to maintenance or repair, Anchor Point-Well Cove Brook due to coliforms having been detected and confirmed
in repeat sample, Hearts Content-Southern Cove Pond due to the detection of E. Coli and repeat samples can not be taken as required. A BWA was issued to Fairbanks-Hillgrade due to coliforms having been
detected and confirmed in repeat sample.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a previously issued BWN in Prince Rupert was downgraded to a WQA. The City of West Kelowna issued a BWN to an isolated area of the Lakeview-Rose Valley WS due to the presence
of total coliforms; a previously issued WQA for Lakeview- Rose Valley WS due to elevated turbidity is still in effect. Fraser Health issued a BWN to White Pine Beach due to equipment malfunction during
treatment or distribution.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 2 preventive BWAs were issued in the Ville-Marie borough of Montréal. Two localized BWAs were issued in Laval, reasons not stated. In Saint-Lazare a previously issued BWA was
lifted while another was since issued to several streets following water shutoff for emergency repairs. Provincial Government-issued advisories are in effect in Gatineau (DNC Advisory), and
Rivière-à-Pierre (BWA); advisory causes were not stated.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Morden Water System (Kings), Sunrise Motel (Brookfield), Clementsport Legion (Annapolis); advisory causes were not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Elstow due to a power outage, and a portion of Unity due to line break or pressure loss. Two DWAs were issued in Prince Albert, both due to valve replacement.
The Town of Regina Beach issued a localized PDWA due to water break repairs.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Cartwright PWS, reason not stated, short term.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) advisory was issued to Winagami Lake by Alberta Health Services.
