There were 17 new advisories issued since yesterday, 3 in BC, 5 in SK, 3 in QC, 5 in MB, 1 in ON.

Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, a BWA was issued to portions of the Montréal West Island, more specifically, to portions of Pierrefonds, Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Roxboro due to non-conforming quality results from the water in the DDO reservoir. A BWA was issued in the Ouimet St sector of Saint-Jérôme, reason not stated. A BWA was issued to a number of addresses in Rouyn-Noranda due to well disinfection; the advisory is effective tomorrow.


Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to Manigotagan Public Water System, Snow Lake PWS, Flin Flon PWS; advisory causes were not stated and all three are categorized as short term. A WQA was issued to Nutimik Lake Campground (year round operations); the advisory is categorized as medium term. A BWA was issued to Otter Falls Campground, Semi-Public Water System; the advisory is categorized as medium term.


British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, a BWN was issued to all users of the Ootischenia Improvement District water system due to detection of E. Coli. A BWN was issued to Port McNeill Water System also due to detection of E. Coli. Vancouver Island Health issued a BWN to Philimore Point Improvement District due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the town of Assiniboia due to elevated turbidity, town of Carnduff due to a watermain break, Northern Hamlet Cole Bay due to swabbing and reservoir cleaning, town of Delisle due to depressurization and Elk Ridge Golf and Conference Ctre due to a water break.


Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, a First Nation BWA was issued to Niisaachewan Public Water System. A previously issued BWA in Kettle Lakes Provincial Park was rescinded.
