There were 18 new advisories issued since yesterday: 1 in BC, 5 in SK, 4 in QC, 3 in MB, 2 in ON, 1 in NL, 2 in AB.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Biggar due to watermain break and repair, portion of Lanigan due to planned maintenance, portion of Radisson due to watermain break and repair.
An Emergency Boil Water Order was issued to the Village of Liberty due to the presence of E. Coli. A DWA was issued by the City of Prince Albert to one block due to watermain repair. A previously
issued PDWA was lifted in Pennant. A previously issued First Nation BWA to Thunderchild-Turtle Lake PWS was rescinded.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to a portion of the Gladstone distribution system due to a watermain break. A BWA was issued to Landmark Public Water System, reason not stated. A BWA was issued
to Lowe Farm (RM Morris) due to main water valves being replaced.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a precautionary localized BWA was issued in Elliot Lake due to a watermain break. Two previously issued precautionary BWAs in Elliot Lake are still in effect. A blue green algae
advisory (cyanobacteria) was issued by Simcoe Muskoka DHU for the north shoreline of Hammells Bay on Three Mile Lake.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued due to disinfection system failure at the water treatment plant for the Village sector of Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard. A BWA was issued to the entire
municipality of Nicolet due to an aqueduct break. Blue green algae was detected at the municipal beach in Saint-Gabriel. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in effect for the Municipality of
Low (Fieldville), reason not stated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Green Island Brook due to Total Coliforms having been detected and confirmed in repeat sample. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Belleoram
and Isle aux Morts.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, First Nation BWAs were issued to Loon River Cree Public Water System and Montana PWS. A previously issued BWA for Okotoks has been lifted.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Capital Regional District to a portion of Highland-Fernwood Water Service as water quality may have been compromised as a result of a water system leak.
