There were 20 new advisories issued since Friday: 3 in BC, 2 in SK, 7 in QC, 3 in NS, , 4 in NL, 1 in AB.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a major project to replace an aqueduct valve has commenced, affecting the municipalities of Saint-Constant, Sainte-Catherine, Delson, and Candiac. BWAs have so far been
issued to the cities of Saint-Constant and Sainte-Catherine; Delson and Candiac have thus far issued only watering bans. A BWA was issued to one street in Laval following water interruption.
A BWA was issued to the Bishopton sector of Dudswell due to an aqueduct break. In Montmagny a BWA was issued to a portion of one street due to water interruption for public works. A Provincial
Government-issued BWA is in effect for Saint-Donat Camping, reason not stated. In Lévis, a BWA was issued to one street due to a sewer blockage.
Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Saint-Lambert, Rouyn-Noranda.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Northern Health Authority issued a BWN to Cassier RV Park due to coliforms having been detected; the inspection report stated the Well has not been disinfected in over
a year, and the Well pump was recently changed with no disinfection afterwards as is required. NHA also issued a BWN to Minette Bay Lodge due to unsatisfactory water results received; the report
states the UV treatment system is alarming and the cause of the alarm is currently unknown. A BWN was issued by NHA for Lakelse Lake Provincial Park Picnic Site due to multiple unsatisfactory water r
esults received; the report states there are issues with high turbidity and colour in the water has impacted potability as the water cannot be adequately treated by the chlorine and UV treatment systems
present.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Wedgeport Tuna Fishing Museum (Yarmouth County), Kniffen Hollow Management (Annapolis), and Enfield Estates (HRM); advisory causes were not provided.
Previously issued BWAs were rescinded for Lake Echo Community Centre, Upper Tantallon Circle K, Pictou Lodge Beach Resort.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, 2 BWAs were issued in Stephenville, both due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair. A BWA was issued to Hearts Delight-Islington due to water demand
and plant maintenance. A BWA was issued to Hickmans Harbour-Big Loss Pound Pond due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Kerrobert due to planned maintenance, and to Craven due to a watermain break.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) advisory was issued by Alberta Health Services for parts of Paddle River Dam Reservoir.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, 2 previously issued partial BWAs were lifted in Elliot Lake.
