ADVISORY WRAP-UP

There were 14 new advisories issued since yesterday: 2 in BC, 4 in SK, 3 in QC, 2 in NL, 1 in ON, 1 in NU, 1 in MB.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued to Hearts Desire-Terrence Pond due to the disinfection system being off due to maintenance or mechanical failure, and Burgeo-Long Pond
where the water supply system integrity was compromised due to disaster (e.g. contamination of water source from flooding, gross contamination, major power failure, etc.)
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, in Iqaluit, advance notice of a city-wide BWA was issued: the advisory will be in effect Sept 1st due to to critical valve replacement.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 3 Provincial Government-issued BWAs are in effect in the Montérégie region: Camping La clé des Champs (St-Philippe), Granby Camping, Resto Bar Le
Pirate (Sainte-Barbe); all three are non-municipal systems for which advisory causes were not stated. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Nicolet, Baie-Comeau, Lévis and the Plateau
Mont Royal borough of Montréal. A First Nation BWA was issued to Innu-Uashat Mak Mani-Utenam First Nation.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Interior Health issued BWNs to Lucas Road Water System due to distribution system integrity failure, and Enchanted Forest Water System due to unacceptable water
quality results (microbiological). A previously issued WQA was lifted in Fernie.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Town of Hafford due to inadequate disinfection residuals, Livelong due to high turbidity, Saltcoats due to a watermain break, a portion of
Watson due to watermain repair.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to the Delta Colony (Austin) Semi-public water system; the advisory cause was not stated and it is categorized as short term. A previously issued BWA was
lifted in Landmark.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a First Nation BWA was issued to Lac Seul-Pelican Falls High School Public Water System. A previously issued BWA was lifted by Eastern Ontario Health for Taste of Health,
Touch of Health.
