There were 27 new advisories issued since yesterday: 6 in BC, 6 in SK, 4 in ON, 6 in QC, 4 in MB, 1 in NL.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Thompson Nicola Regional District revised previously issued advisories to Loon Lake (WQA), and Black Pines (BWN), both having been issued due to elevated turbidity. Northern Health issued a BWN to Whispering Pines Motel due to an unsatisfactory water sample result. Interior Health (IH) issued BWNs to Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park Campground and McQueen Lake, both due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological). IH issued WQAs to Walhachin CWS and Savona CWS, both due to excessive turbidity, and to Knutsford Knoll Modular Home Park due to
unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, HKPR District Health issued BWAs to Cardiff residents as the drinking water treatment system was compromised due to a loss of pressure, and to Cedardale Campground, reason not stated.
A previously issued BWA in Elliot Lake was lifted. First Nation BWAs were issued to Slate Falls PWS and to Lac La Croix PWS. Previously issued First Nation BWAs were lifted for Chippewas of The Thames,
and Lac Seul-Pelican Falls High School.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Venise-en-Québec a BWA will be in effect tomorrow (Sept 1st) due to water interruption. Water interruption followed by a BWA was issued to some residents in the secteur
centre of Beauharnois due to connection work. In Rouyn-Noranda water interruption followed by a preventive BWA was issued to several addresses due to maintenance work. In Saint-Sauveur water was
interrupted to several addresses; when service resumes a preventive BWA will be in effect. A BWA is in effect in Henryville following water interruption due to leak on a major watermain. A First
Nation BWA was issued to Algonquine/Kitcisakik-GLV Public Water System. A previously issued BWA was lifted in the Hull sector of Gatineau.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, semi-public water system BWAs were issued to Steinbach East End Co-op, Winnipeg Beach Artesian, Betula Lake Resort Store, and Teulon Chicken Chef; all are categorized as
short term while causes were not stated.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Churchbridge due to a watermain break, Town of Watrous due to planned maintenance, Watrous South Rural Water Utility due to a power outage
causing depressurization, Town of Midale due to a watermain break, Village of Maymont due to watermain repairs, Resort Village of Manitou Beach due to a power outage.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a previously issued BWA was lifted for the Hamlet of Smith.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a localized BWA was issued in Corner Brook due to repairs to the water distribution system. A previously issued BWA was lifted for Hermitage-Granfers Pond.
