There were 22 new advisories issued since yesterday: 5 in SK, 9 in QC, 3 in ON, 1 in BC, 2 in NL, 1 in NB, 1 in NS.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, 2 localized preventive BWAs were issued in Saint-Lambert, both due to a water leak. A preventive BWA was issued to one address in Mirabel-en-haut due to aqueduct system
connection work. In Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix, a preventive BWA is in effect due to work on the pressure reduction chamber. Last week an unrelated Do Not Consume advisory was issued by the
Provincial Government for the Parish Hall in Saint-Paul-de-la Croix. A BWA was issued in the La Baie sector of Saguenay, reason not stated. Two preventive BWAs were issued in Lévis,
one due to an aqueduct break and the other due to valve replacement. A BWA was issued to one street in Laval. A BWA was issued in Sainte-Adèle due to an aqueduct break.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a blue green algae bloom was detected west of Boat Bay Launch on Lost Lake however Northwestern Health stated that the MECP would not be testing this bloom, so was
advising visitors to treat the bloom as if it was positive for cyanobacteria and to take the usual precautions. A preventive BWA was issued to Bright municipal water system in Blandford-
Blenheim due to a watermain break. A Boil Order was issued by HKPR District Health to Stoney Creek Trailer Park, reason not stated. Previously issued First Nation BWAs to Naicatchewenin
PWS and Ojibway-Onegaming were rescinded.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a short term First Nation BWA was issued to Esgenoopetitj-Robins Donuts SPWS, reason not stated.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a short term First Nation BWA was issued to Eskasoni-East Bay PWS, reason not stated.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued to Pools Cove-Widgeon Pond and Fleur de Lys-First Pond, Narrow Pond; both advisories were due to total coliforms having been detected
and confirmed in repeat samples. Previously issued BWAs were lifted for Ferryland-Deep Cove Pond and Irishtown-Pynns Pond.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to a portion of Ituna due to a watermain break, portion of Pense due to planned maintenance, Radisson due to reservoir emptying causing depressurization,
Vibank due to water repairs. A First Nation BWA was issued to Lac la Ronge - Stanley No. 157 Public Water System.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Northern Health to CGL Summit Camp-Vanderhoof Airport Main Camp; the cause is undetermined however there is a potentially low water turn over and
inadequate chlorine residual. A WQA to the Lakeview-Rose Valley Water System has been rescinded.
