April 22 to May 23 one-way system flushing will be conducted and fire hydrants inspected. Residents are instructed to boil tap water if it is cloudy or discoloured.SAINT-GABRIEL and SAINT-GABRIEL-de-BRANDON will be carrying out their flushing operations one after the other.

QUALITÉ DE L'EAU - Les personnes immunodéprimées, les personnes âgées, les nourrissons, les jeunes enfants et les animaux domestiques devraient utiliser une source d'eau alternative. Les concentrations naturellement élevées de MANGANÈSE dans l'eau brute ne sont pas suffisamment traitées en raison des insuffisances des équipements de filtration municipaux des réseaux de distribution d'eau desservant SAINT-GABRIEL and SAINT-GABRIEL-de-BRANDON. Les concentrations de MANGANÈSE mesurées dans l'eau dépassent la concentration maximale acceptable (CMA).

WATER QUALITY - An alternative source of water should be used by the immune compromised, elderly, infants, young children and pets. Naturally high MANGANESE concentrations in the raw water supply are not being sufficiently treated due to the inadequacies of the municipal filtration equipment of the water distribution systems serving SAINT-GABRIEL and SAINT-GABRIEL-de-BRANDON. MANGANESE levels measured in the water supply exceed the maximum acceptable concentration (MAC).

Il est rappelé aux résidents de faire bouillir leur eau pendant au moins trois minutes. Cet avis est entré en vigueur le 3 avril en raison d'une réparation d'urgence.

Boil Water Advisory Still in Effect due to a non-compliant water quality result. Residents are reminded to boil their water for at least three minutes. This advisory went into effect April 3 due to an emergency repair.
